How can I fix my Ford Mondeo Mk3 Electric locks?

I've got a weird problem that I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction or give some helpful advice.

The electric locks on my Mondeo are acting crazy. Here is a list of what is going on:

1. Sometimes the trunk switch in the car works and sometimes it does not.
2. Sometimes the outer electronic trunk hand opener works and sometimes it does not.
3. While driving the doors automatically lock, no intervention on my part it just happens.
4. Using the key remote sometimes the trunk opens and sometimes not.
5. Doors no longer lock using the remote key but they do unlock with no problem.
6. The other day I was cleaning out the car and locked the doors manually with the key as I was walking away from the car all the doors automatically unlocked.

I've listed the information for my car below:
2001 Mondeo III Stufenheck (B5Y)
KBA: 8566414
2.0 16v/TDDi 66KW 90PS
Motorcode D5BA

i had this problem on mine what i done was took the drivers side door card off and the main wires that go to the regulator(locking mechanism) i found that water was getting in and was contaminating the connection gave it a clean with brake cleaner and a blow out work perfectly now so try that first..
