Sounds silly...just moved into this rental and here goes another problem...I tried cleaning the gunk from the top and now this error appeared. Guy is coming tomorrow to fix other problems but I need to unplug this thing asap. My poor rescue, from a gassing shelter, is freaking out. HELP!

Ask the landlord or his agent.

The guy will be able to find the plug

The plug will be at the end of the cable - presumably the appliance is built-in rather than counter-top - the plug will be in a socket on the wall behind - low behind the plinth or in an adjacent cupboard - the installer will have needed to be able to plug it in - the plug will not be far away.
