Fire rated downlights?

I have fire rated downlights in my bathroom and i want to replace the old insulation in the roof above. Is it OK to cover them or will they get too hot?. Im going to use 200ml between the joists then a space blanket over the top.

Cheers

They are halogen bulbs, so I will leave a space. Thanks for the advice.

the insulation should not cover the light fitting. but if you using led light bulbs u should be ok as led light bulbs dont produce as much as normal bulbs. but i would just make sure u leave a little clearance for heat to dissipate
