When performing a master/full reset you are told by Garmin you will lose all user data on Favourites except Points of interest (POI)which are part of the programming. History is cleared in not done manually by user to clear route run and no longer wanted. Seven times I've done a full reset following the info delete user data ye / no. each time pressing yes it then reboots with the first display 'select a locale' united kingdom pressed ok next display Register your product then pressing ok. then the warning about using while driving pausing it then goes to route make page. On checking history displays 'No data available' so all history has been deleted. Go to favourites and Everything is still on their but to get info back from Garmin last took 2.2 weeks. Anyone had the same problem with any Garmin they have? as it seems to me another fault to add to my list RESET not working as It should.
