aeg favorit 86070 dishwasher?

the dishwasher has intermittent fault, which is at the start of the programme it sometimes gets stuck on initial pump out and will not move on to fill, it will just click and go back to pump out again and again. also the on/off button will not always work

Probably the anti flood system is operating, all that happens is the drain pump runs all the time. Unplug from mains and get any water out of the base where the workings are.
