ford focus 1600 04 plate, central locking?

my nearside rear door does not lock with the key from either front door . i do not have a key fob for locking, also i cannot manually lock the door with the button on the internal latch.any ideas please?

I would remove the door card and check there is no linkage seized and check the electrical connection is intact onto the lock/latch assy.
