Whistling sound from UPVC window area during strong winds ?

One window in our house seems to whistle during strong winds. I can sort of feel a general draft, but can't locate it. I can't see or feel where it is vibrating to cause the whistle.

I'm not absolutely sure it is the window frame. I can't tell if something outside such as the guttering could be causing this.

Suggestions as to what may cause a whistle would be appreciated.

the side frame of the window will have slightly twisted allowing the wind to enter between the frame and the window, as the wind forces past the seal it causes it to vibrate, a bit like the reed in a flute, causing the whistling sound.

Well it will be the wind that causes it - work out which way the wind is blowing when you hear the noise and arrange a baffle to disturb the airflow - small batten screwed to the wall perhaps.

Don't blame the window or its frame - blame the wind.
