Samsung Microwave Latch is OK, But Not Recognized as Closed?

Hello,

I have a Samsung microwave that has to be slammed shut very hard in order for the microwave to trigger on. When closed lightly, the light stays on. I removed the plastic piece on the door to reveal the latch and spring. There is nothing wrong with that part. Nobody seems to address any other door problem online. One of two holes on the front of the unit body has a magnet (bottom), one does not. Is it possible that some part within those two areas? If that is not the problem, is there another common issue this could be?
Thanks for any help!
