how do i know if my anti crease program as been selected i have no light to indicate if this is so

Maybe the lamp is broken - maybe that anti-crease is defective.

The true test is what happens at the end of the washing cycle - anti-crease tumbles the drum around every now and again - to stop creases forming.

Observation will tell you. Observation & patience.
