no power on aeg f55022viop?

The dishwasher completed a full cycle but next time we came to use it would not power up. A quick check on the electrics found I was actually getting 240V on the input to the main power board in the door but nothing on the output side. I found a 49Ohm resistor on the power circuit blown and so replaced it but now the replacement also blows instantly when you press the power button. I have tried switching on with nothing but the power connector (in and out) and the mains switch connected and still blows the same resistor. I can see no other obvious signs of failure on the PCBA. I could replace the board completely but concerned it will just blow the same resistor on the new board.

The machine is only just 3 years old and is used once or twice a week.

Any thoughts or advise appreciated.

Thanks
