Computer does not recognize 1 GB CompactFlash card?

Hello:

I have a 1 GB CF Lexar card which is a few months old, it has been used but not a whole lot.

I was using it and when it was up to about 600 MB it suddenly stopped working, when the card is on the camera and i turn it on the camera simply doesn't power on, when i use it with a card reader the computer doesn't recognize the card at all.

Physically it looks fine and nothing happened to it that i am ware of that could have caused this to happen.

Any ideas? i would really like to recover the pictures if at all possible. This happened in the middle of a once in a lifetime vacation.

If you need basic or advanced recovery there is a recovery company that can just about always help. Try connecting with http://www.eProvided.com, they just about always help the professional photographers I know in stressful situations. They can ever recover data by replacing circuits.
