I had a British Gas engineer came to look at my boiler & then he asked me where the pump was ... isn't the pump inside the boiler? Is the Celsia F1 pump external to the boiler & where is it normal to have it in the house?

The boiler came with the house when I bought it.

Thanks. Yeah I was surprise too since it's a British Gas boiler. Maybe British Gas sent me the wrong engineer, he wasn't familiar with that boiler. :-)

On my heating system the pump is next to the H/W storage tank in my airing cupboard.

I'm surprised that the gas man couldn't find your pump - like a garage mechanic asking where the engine is.
