It says 'No disk inserted' when there is a disk inserted?

My inovix IP-750 portable DVD player which I have had from new and has worked well until now has just started saying 'no disk inserted', when there is a disk in the machine - anyone any ideas?

Clean the disc first and retry then run a head cleaning disc through and try again,if they don't work then re post.It's no good giving lots of possible answers to try because you need to do them one at a time.
