Its a case of checking from aerial on roof down to socket all the cables and connections.
Are you turning on the control unit? you'd be surprised how many people plug in to the aerial socket and wonder why there is no signal, they didn't know about the control on/off panel usually sited in the wardrobe. At worst a new unit circa £76
