My 1997 mk1 sprinter 208 will not stop running when key is turned off I've ?

Running I've changed the the fuel cut of switch
Switch and it still don't turn of? Someone told me to syringe to top and suck and it turns off?cant find any leaks any where? I've been staling it for a year now and don't want to ruin clutch any ideas please simon

Is the cut off switch getting an electrical feed? You can usually hear/feel it clicking if it is functioning ok.
