The pressure on my performa 24 boiler keeps on rising to above 3. I have bleed a radiator until the pressure reduces but then the gauge immediately starts to rise again back to above 3.
I believe the filling loop is closed but leeks water and so does the discharge pipe.

Disconnect the filling loop to either confirm it's at fault or not,if not the heat exchanger is favourite.try turning the cold feed off to the boiler to see if pressure rise stops
