I have lots of 2inch & 3inch branches to cut up
Can I use a circular saw. I was told not to so what about a chop saw?.

dont use a circular saw , it will jam and will kick back and hurt you, if you useing a chop saw, you need the right blade on it with big teeth, at high speed, but sometimes you might find a bow hand saw, just as easy and fast with a new blade on it,
