How to repair dirt devil ultra vision vacume?

As I was vacuuming the motor stopped. No cloges, no obstructions. I tried a different electrical outlet still the motor won't come on. Is there a breaker switch on the vacume? How do I access the power switch to test it?

Unlikely to be the switch - more likely to be a broken wire inside the cable at the plug end. Cut off the plug and a few inches of cable - fit a new plug - see what happens.
