My tv is on childlock then it switch by it self on standby i did buy i universal remote but my tv still dont want to go on

I'm having the same problem, my dad accidentally put my samsung T1-14N3F Tv/vcr combi into standby with the universal remote (just says optimum on the back) he bought to try and undo the panel lock that he also put onto it :')
Is there any hope of fixing this or not? I'm guessing not lol

You wont get a positive response until you repost with the make and model of the TV and the make and model of the remote.
Just think of how many makes and models of TV's and remotes their are.

Its like going in to a car warehouse full of different makes and style of vehicles and saying 'I'll have that one'....which one of the 400 are you referring too?....get it now ?
