i have Mercedes sprinter (motorhome) 2.7 fitted with a sprint shift, with for its year is low mileage 47000. However in France last week it kept jumping out of auto and I had to use the triptronic gears. It also seamed to loose a bit of power as normaly it would climb most hills comfortably
Any idea what problem may be and its cure

If you have an engine management issue the sprintshift will not choose a gear for you. I suspect this uis due to your power loss. It is normally a split boost hose on them.
