Heatrea Sadia Megaflo 95 605 869 leak?

I have a leak on on my water control/filter megaflo part number 95 605 869. This is an old part and has been replaced by 95 605 021 oem part. Is it a case of just swopping over or do i need to change the pipework to suit. Im very concerned as Im not a plumber and the person who came round did a lot of oing and aring which sounded a lot of money and so Ive left him on hold. He managed to snap the isolating valve too so still dripping.

The pressurised side is nothing to do with this valve/filter -- it is on the cold water supply side to the cyminder, not the unvented heating coil side. I do wish so-called 'experts' would stop talking rubbish!!

Yes the valve is obsolete and would require replacing, only qualified people should work on it ie qualified on unvented hot water systems, any alterations should be fairly minor.Heatrae Sadia will tell you your nearest agent.Have you tried regenerating the air gap as a lack of air in the tank aggravates the situation, there are instructions on the side of the tank
