how can i unlock my thorn ct5122t television?

i have lost the t.v instruction for my thorn CT5122T television it is displaying a key sign and we think its locked so we cannot turn the volume up or re-tune the t.v please help....

Press the Volume Up button on the [TV], then, while it's pressed, hit the button marked "-/--" on the [Remote Control] to release it from hotel mode.
