How can I get the "E0" message off my sewing machine?

I have a Montgomery Ward Computer 2001 machine and it has an "E0" message in the stitch type. When I turn the machine off it will go to "00" and then it grinds and goes immediately to "E0". Is there a reset button? I have the manual but do not see how to get this message off the machine.

I had intermittent E0 every few minutes while sewing. Doing a routine clean and oil of the machine seems to have gotten rid of it (at least for an hour). E0 could be an "I'm jammed!" error.
