emails ?

I want to save a enail to a folder named 'Painting' so do what I've always done click on 'move' and an incomplete list of folders appears with out the one I want on the list.
So click on 'More ' at the bottom of the shortened list to expand and still the folder I want is not showing.

It's not been deleted as it still shows in the folder list to the left, a list of all my folders for various emails, and there are emails in it so its 'active' so why when I want to save an email to the 'Paint' folder its not there.
Many thanks for reading and input.

Is your "Painting" folder a subfolder within another one? Like "Arts" or "Hobies" maybe.

If that's the case, you need to double-click or otherwise devlop the parent folder to put anything into the "Painting" folder.

The other solution would be to move the Painting folder out of it's parent folder, and, to make it appear earlier in the list, you can add a "!" or "_" before the name.
That way, painting becomes !Painting or _Painting. Those 2 characters come before the "A" and even the "1" in the characters encoding.

You do not describe the mail application you use but no matter.

You do not describe the contents of the folder you have named Painting - if your Painting folder has sub-folders inside it then what you describe is to be expected - normal.

You can only put files (e-mails) in the last folder in the chain like this...

Top Level Folder - Sub Folder - Sub sub folder - e-mail

If there are no sub folders then your e-mail will go into the top-level folder. If there are sub folders then the sub folder you want should be selected.

It's like a wardrobe with drawers inside it - you can't put your socks in the wardrobe until you've opened the wardrobe and decided which particular drawer you're going to use.
