i have set up a hotmail address for msn instant messageing but i still cant send or recieve messages wen i sign in. I want to be able to talk to my friends through instant messageing can you help me ?

you didn't say if you have added contacts. contacts have to be added and they have to agree. when you press add a contact, type in their email address and they will be sent an email with the details. When they are online you will see they are available and you can then double click on there icon and the instant message screen should pop up.
