Miele W 723 Washing Machine Spin Cycle?

My Miele washing machine washes as per normal, but when the dial gets to "Rinse Hold" the machine stops and won't move onto the spin cycle.
To get around this I manually switch the machine onto spin to finish.

Is this problem an easy fix or Is the machine on the way out (cost more than It's worth)

I too have a Miele washing machine - it also has a Rinse Hold - some washing programmes take the machine to rinse hold in an attempt to prevent creasing - other programmes do not.

A clue to your situation is the word "hold" - progress is held suspended until the operator is ready for things to progress.

Your machine does not require a fix and neither is it on the way out. You would do well to read the operating instructions.

Rinse Hold is a feature - not a fault.
