My washing machine is overflowing from the soap dispenser and I also pulled out the dispenser to check if there was a cake of soap so as to clean it but there's nothing. My washing machine model is zanussi Electrolux aquacycle essential 1600 (6kg) zwf1621w how do I fix it or do a have to get a new one?

does the washing machine overfill with water when you start the cycle. eg does it fill up to a level higher than halfway up the glass door.

OK, so its probably not the dispenser.

What route does the water than take, to get into the machine? Is that clear?

Is the water supply into the dispenser coming in at the right place?
