I cannot see answer to my question. How do I find out where my answer is. I just asked the question a few minutes ago about my GE microwave heating but not making the heating sound and sometimes light coming on and going off...

Your "heating sound" is probably the sound of the fan that should cool down the magnetron.
It looks like that fan may have failed, maybe a loose wire that need to be secured, or dead fan that need to be replaced.
As for the light coming on and off, that really point to a bad contact somewhere.
The two may or not be related.
