stripped agitator remove and check,broken drive coupler,remove cabinet(2 screws at angle on edge of front control pannel,pullforwad slightly and lift control panneland flip back,remove 2 clips going from top of cabinet to back of unit place screwdriver in clip on top of cabinet and pry toward back, unplug lidswitch,tilt cabinet forwardand remove),motor coupler located between motor and transmission(remove 2 metel clips holding pump to motor,newer models have 2 screws though clips holding motor to trans. unplug motor wires first motor comes loose) coupler should have 3 pin protruding from motor on white plastic disk and same on trans. should be black rubber disk with 6 holes,if it has white rubber disk replace anyway these proved to be unreliable. inside transmission broken/shered off bolt in rack gear.if your problem is inside the tranny and the washer is over 5yrs old you would be better off getting a newone.
