HOW CAN I FIX MY SHARP WIDESCREEN TV?

I HAVE A SHARP 28HW-53W WIDESCREEN TV THE OTHER DAY IT STARTED MAKING STRANGE NOISES AND AFUNNY SMELL CAME FROM IT, ISWITCHED IT OFF AND LEFT IT A FEW HOURS WHEN I TURNED IT BACK ON THERE WAS ONLY SOUND AND NO PICTURE, DOES THE BULB NEED REPLACED WHERE CAN I GET A BULB?

Hi,

I would think that the tube has blown with the things you described if you have a standard TV (not LCD/Plasma).
If you have no knowledge of TV/electrical engineering I would strongly suggest you do not remove the back of the TV as there is a risk of electic shock if you don't know what your messing with.
Use your Yellow pages etc to contact a tv engineer, they'll probably tell you that a replacement TV is cheaper than repair these days.
