fridge freezing up on Kelvinator 500l frost free?

The lower part of the fridge sometimes freezes up with fruit and veggies become frozen even after adjusting the temp control dial.
Jim, April 2016
The fridge should run at about 5 - 10 centigrade (41-50 F)
The cooling plate will be below freezing and will ice-up - keep foof away from the plate.

To stop ice building up the fridge automatically warms the cooling plate from time to time - melts the ice and the water drains away.

Perhaps the auto defrost function is defective. It will be cooler at the bottom.

Have someone call.

Good Luck..., April 2016
