pvr -clean heads?

Is there 'heads' or similar to clean
Our PVR Digitech -records all stations great - but one station -the recording 'jumps' in places
The reception thru TV is over 90%

In the UK not all stations are broadcast from the same transmitter -some of the less popular stations have a limited number of transmitting locations.

It may be that most of the stations come from the stronger and closer transmitter but the station you have trouble with is a weaker signal from further away.

But this is just conjecture...

Problems with electrolytic capacitors and the power supply would be more likely to affect all stations without prejudice.

No. The only heads in a PVR are in the hard disk drive, whihc is like the hard disk in your computer.

One can only assume the problem was something transient when the programme was broadcast or possibly errors frm other sources.

If you do get more errors on other recordings over time, it coud be there are issues with electrolytic capacitors failing, generally in the power supply.
