Do I need to pull by range aster out of its housing for repair?

I've just had the repair man out (sent by range master) to look at my range m
aster 110. It has a problem with the oven not getting any hotter than about gas mark 2. He has diagnosed the problem as being the thermostat and has said it needs replacing. He's told us that the range master will need to be pulled out of its alcove so that he can replace the part. Does anyone know if this is necessary as its going to be very difficult to get it out into the middle of my kitchen

You might always consider knocking a hole through the wall from the other side - that will provide access without the need to pull the cooker forward.

Lets see: Someone who knows about working on the stove has told you how he needs access.

People posting here are, as far as you are concerned no better informed than some bloke down the pub.

Who to believe. The engineer or some bloke in the pub?
