Room thermostat?

I've recently repositioned my central heating pump in our recently bought house. We found out the previous owner had installed it the wrong way. Since the change the Siemens room thermostat receiver light goes off as soon as the CH on the boiler programmer(Tempus 7) kicks in on timer. Basically it won't allow full control of both programmer CH and HW work alongside the programmable room thermostat. Any ideas please?

Thanks for the reply. I had 3 plumber call-outs and they all confirmed the pump was fitted the wrongly before I had one of them fix it. I haven't disturbed any wiring and read the manual for all units. Nothing jumps out at me as being wrong. I have no electrical knowledge so I wouldn't even dare to fix anything.

One suspects there has been a wriging cockup or the pump was right for the installation in the first place.

Was the pump really installed incorrectly or have you misinterpreted?

Have you checked against the boiler, controller and thermostat manuals?

I wonder if the wiring to the controller and / or pump is wrong.

Did you disturb ANY wiring?

ANY?

AT ALL?

On the basis of what you told us, you have altered something
