RCA - Vertical Alignment Jumpy?

I have a great big RCA TV that used to work great. When I plug it in, after a couple minutes, the screen jumps up and down a lot.

How do I fix this?!

I don't know this particular TV but the symptoms are fairly common to failing electrolytic capacitors in the frame circuit, which is usually quite straightforward and not too expensive for an engineer to repair. Electrolytic capacitors are generally between maybe 50c to $5 each, plus the labour charge. In older TV's, will usually find a few which have gone low in capacitance & leaking. It's not the only possible cause of your problem but fairly likely, along with dry soldered joints.
