Repair to polycarbonate roof?

A neighbour's roofer dropped three tiles on our polycarbonate roof and made holes in it in three places. He's repaired it with three ugly 'blotches' of bitumen. Will this work or will it eventually leak? I am worried that the bitumen will part company with the polycarbonate and give us more problems. At the very least it's ugly.

Thank you - that makes sense.

You are entitled to full restitution - not a bodge job.

The responsibility is NOT with the tradesman but with your neighbour - make a claim on your house insurance and have it fixed properly - if your neighbour is not insured than that's just too bad for your neighbour.

The tradesman was your neighbours agent - you should have No Dealings with the roofer.
