How can I fix my Fisher & Paykel top loader washing machine model # GW709Au?
After being left outside in the weather for a few months I retrieved it and left it overnight before switching on my Fisher & Paykel GW709AU TOP LOADER WASHING MACHINE. When I plugged it in and switched it on all the display lights came on as usual. I then set up for a blind wash cycle (ie no clothes in for cycle) as I wanted to wash out all dirt etc....
After setting water level, temp and spin speed I pressed sart and lost all power to the machine and haven't been able to get power to it since
Any ideas???
Control board has shorted out. Will have to be replaced. Probably had dampness or condensation sitting on the PCB. That's what happens when you leave them outside in the weather.
