my lg wasnt draining so i changed the pump and removed and cleaned all hoses now drains fine but i now have a leak from some kind of drain hole on the bottom of that big round weight attached to the drum i cant see anything to connect it to and there are no spare hoses to connect to it does anyone no what im refering to or how to stop the leak dont really want to block it as its for draining i think looks like it should have a hose but leak is recent

Water runs down hill...

The weight has no water in it - what you see is water from somewhere above the weight.

When you changed the pump and removed ALL the hoses you failed to make things watertight when you put it back together - check your work.
