I have a Gemini 55 where the on/off switch has become temperamental in that it sometimes won't work without pressing several times. The switch inside is a small surface-mounted micro-switch. The switch contacts, over a period of time get dirty and need to be cleaned. I have found a squirt of switch cleaner usually sorts the problem out. A small squirt of switch cleaner followed by operating the switch several times afterwards might help. Good luck. Btw, an aerosol can of switch- cleaner can be bought online or in any electrical repair shop for less than £5 - useful stuff for cleaning switches!
