Our boiler has been making loud noise which we have been advised by engineer sounds like the fan. Whilst waiting for part to fix it, is it a fire hazard to have heating on?
Best to ask the engineer who has attended
If in doubt always best to turn boiler off and wait for repair
It is an inconvinience but better off being safe than sorry
