I have an Ariston ACO 32MFFI boiler, the boiler gets to the ignition stage, ignites for a few seconds and then switches itself off again, any ideas please?

If your boiler has a warranty ariston will cover any repairs
At the very least give ariston a ring (number on their website) to discuss the possible cuase of fault with a technical advisor
They would take you through a few simple checks to determine if a gas safe engineer is required to diagnose and fix problem
