Hotpoint WM11 Alternative Motor?

My WM11 first edition 800 was originally fitted with the following motor:
AC Motor type: 904 / 1158 / 06, 220-240v, 50Hz 1-phase, 800-12000RPM, A: 4.5/1.5, Rtg: CONT, Wo: 80/160

After 20 years service, and several brush changes, the armature has burned out, and the motor is obsolete. The machine is otherwise in excellent condition.

Would any of the motors from later models fit this machine. I am led to believe the WM-range are all pretty similar inside? The motor is above the drum, located by a spigot and two bolts, and there are 6 wires in the motor plug, and 6 wires in the socket (armaturex2, fieldx2, tachox2).

I don't mind swapping the armature from a different motor into my casing if that's what it takes, but I don't want to waste money buying the wrong type.

Can anyone help please?
