I had the same problem but found the answer on another post on this website:-
"Eventually I got to play the music i'd put on the player after i'd selected M, then M again when it was showing 'Play Music'.. then whereas it was saying 'no file' all my files appeared"
This worked for me - hopefully it works for you too!
