I have been told by a heating engineer that the heat exchanger on my boiler is clogged up and because of it's age (25 years) it would be better to replace the boiler. Is it so expensive to clean out or replace the heat exchanger? Is there any way I can add a cleaning agent/rust inhibitor that could clear the problem
