y roberts unologic will work on batteries but not on mains power?

My nephew stayed and I think he may have knocked it over. any ideas of how to effect a repair. Thanks

You are wrong to blame your nephew without evidence - things fail randomly - it does not need a third party to cause a fault.

Consider that the mains power adapter may be defective - if you had a meter you could measure the output.

If the mains adapter is producing an output voltage then you may have to poke around inside the radio to discover an open circuit.
