How to cure low pressure on a Bosch 24i combi?

I have a Worcestor Bosch 24i which constantly loses system pressure. There are no leaks & the PRV isn't passing, I suspect that the expansion vessel is at fault. I know that the boiler needs to be removed from the wall to replace this, but can the expansion vessel be checked & topped up if needed in situ?
Many thanks

this model it can be removed with it on wall but you have to remove pump, heatexchangers, cut the band holding it in. you can check the vessel for pressure located on the vessel is a valve same as a car if you have car pressure gauge check it. it should be about 1 bar and also see if water is released from valve if so its faulty.you can use a foot pump to get it back up to 1 bar but the system must be empty of water
