My vacuum cleaner has suddenly stopped working. The plug fuse has been checked and seems ok but when pushing down the foot control, nothing happens. I have cleaned out the bagless dust collector but still nothing happens.

My Air Speed lite is working with the suction hose but has lost suction when i try to vacuu.I've washed and dried the filter,any suggestions?

Cut away the plug and a few inches of cable - and fit a new plug.

A common fault is a broken conductor inside the cable at the plug end - caused by repeated tugging over time.

This may not fix the problem but it's quick - cheap and easy and has been the solution for 75% of the vacuum cleaners I've repaired.
