This worked for me and saved me a call-out bill

Water has got into the very base of the machine & lifted the the flood switch float. Pull the appliance out & tip it back at 45 degrees until any water comes out from underneath for a couple of mins then set it back down & try it. Sometimes its a one off fault but if it happens again check your filters are clean as this restricts the flow and causes it to overfill.
