is it worth it to find disc/software to fix converter??? and were would I get data and disc to sort it out ii have tried for 5 years???????????

Both downloads are executable. Download and run the files. Follow the instructions.

NEVER use the Normal or Default install, always use Custom or Expert and opt out from any and all so called "recommended" components that are never actually recommended by the author of the software that you are installing.

I am very basic on electronics and have the tevion music audio converter which is not working and the reply from asdasd does not really help .it is not easy to download audacity and install lame mp3 encoder as well could anyone help at all???

Unlikely to find any support.
What is the problem you are trying to fix?
It is very likely you can grab audio directly into a moderately modern computer.
There's some decent software out there for free. Look for "Audacity" - you'll need to use the guidance on the website to download and install "Lame" MP3 encoder as well, but that is really trivial
