VERY bad advice from rich :( It is VITAL to keep your OS and applications as up to date as possible.
Is your computer LESS than 2 years old?
If so, then it's TO RECENT and past it's support time. You need to upgrade to Windows 10 OR take the plunge and switch to Linux.
If you act fast, you may catch the last days when you can still get an upgrade to Windows 10 for free. It will not last past the end of the month.
If you opt to go the Linux way, you can go to distrowatch.com to chose the distribution that best fit your needs and taste.
